Mountaineer Schutzhund Club
We are a small, dedicated and active club whose members have fun training and reaching their personal goals. Our club’s experience includes novice handlers with their first dog to a handler that has achieved success in national-level competitions. MSC members, no matter what their aspirations, try to obtain the best performance each dog and handler team can achieve. We are very proud of our dogs and accomplishments as a club.
We train at least once a week and visitors/prospective members are welcome. If you are interested in quality training, please check us out.
The club's objectives are to:
1. Train dogs for the sport of Schutzhund.
2. Promote working dogs in the sport of Schutzhund.
3. Support and organize trials for Schutzhund.
4. Support the use of dogs by law enforcement agencies.
5. Preserve the German Shepherd Dog in accordance with the breed standard as a working dog.
6. Promote humane training methods for the working dog.
7. Support responsible dog ownership and breeding practices.
